It’s not too late to apply for the NE Agri Business Academy 2017

Wales Embraces Land Partnerships Approach

Venture LogoFarming Connect in Wales has joined forces with Fresh Start Land Enterprise Centre to introduce the 5 step land partnerships approach to the Welsh farming community through their new land matching project ‘Venture’.

A series of workshops to be delivered by Alison Rickett of Fresh Start in conjunction with Einir Haf Davis, the Development and Mentoring Manager at Farming Connect and her team, will deliver the message that innovative ways of working together to produce joint venture land agreements can produce a sustainable and beneficial way forward for agriculture.

The workshops are to be held during September and October this year at the following locations:

Tuesday 26th September 2017 – Brecon

Wednesday 27th September 2017 – Welshpool

Tuesday 3rd October 2017 – Caerfyrddin

Wednesday 4th October 2017 – Ceredigion TBC

Tuesday 10th October 2017 – Caernarfon

Wednesday 11th October 2017  – Rhuthun

Applications Now Open for the NE Agricultural Business Academy 2017

Applications are now open for the North East Agricultural Business Academy 2017 to be held at Kirkley Hall in Northumberland. The Academy will run over 11 sessions starting on 16th November and finishing on the 8th March 2018 and will follow an exciting and informative programme which will include sessions on business planning, succession issues, land innovation, tenancies and financing. Professionals from the industry will present the sessions which will also entail a farm business site visit.  A full outline of the Academy can be found on our flyer which will be available from Tuesday 1st August and you can apply by completing our application form which must be returned to us no later 5pm on 28th September 2017.

Applications Now Open For Lincolnshire Agri Business Academy 2017

Open for Agri success – are you looking to start or develop your own business?

Fresh Start Land Enterprise Centre CIC is delighted to open applications for their Lincolnshire Agri Business Academy supported by the Prince’s Countryside Fund, designed to help anyone looking to start up their own agri business or seeking to expand their existing business skills base.

Each session has an industry expert and leader who will share their knowledge and success, whilst highlighting pitfalls of running your very own successful agri business, complimented by live case studies providing an on the ground account of reality. It is designed to help participants develop a strong innovative business approach, focusing on business planning, structures, finance, marketing and communication skills for the sector.

The Academy will based at the Riseholme Campus on the Lincolnshire showground and runs over 11 sessions from Thursday 2nd November 2017 . For full details follow the link to our flyer.

New Lincolnshire Agri Business Academy to Launch at Lincolnshire Show This June

Fresh Start Land Enterprise Centre will be attending the Lincolnshire Show on 21st June 2017 and is pleased to announce that its next Academy will be held in the region. The Lincolnshire Show will see the launch of the ‘Lincolnshire Agri Business Academy 2017’ when applications will officially open.

The academy, supported by the Princes Countryside Fund, is the latest academy to be developed by Fresh Start in its 11th year and is designed to help anyone looking to start up their own agri business or seeking to expand their existing business skills base.
